Refund Policy

Important Notice: CBD Items will no longer be sold to residents of Maryland. Orders containing CBD products shipped to Maryland addresses will be cancelled and refunded.

Thank you for supporting Big Guy Littles World Sanctuary Inc. ("BGLWS", "we", "us", or "our"). We appreciate your purchases and donations, which help us continue our mission to rescue and care for abused, neglected, and abandoned chihuahuas.

Returns Policy

Our return policy lasts 30 days from the date of purchase. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we unfortunately cannot offer you a refund or exchange.

Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return, your item must meet the following conditions:

Unused and in the same condition as when you received it
In the original packaging with all tags and labels attached
Accompanied by a receipt or proof of purchase

Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

CBD Products: Due to regulatory restrictions and product safety concerns, CBD items cannot be returned once opened. Unopened CBD products may be eligible for return within 30 days, subject to our discretion and applicable regulations.
Perishable Goods: Food items, flowers, or any perishable products
Intimate or Sanitary Goods: For health and safety reasons
Hazardous Materials: Flammable liquids, gases, or hazardous substances
Digital Products: Downloadable software, digital content, or virtual items
Gift Cards: Non-refundable
Custom or Personalized Items: Items made to order or personalized
Sale Items: Items purchased at a discounted or sale price (unless defective)

Maryland Residents: CBD items cannot be sold to or shipped to Maryland addresses. Any orders containing CBD products with Maryland shipping addresses will be automatically cancelled and refunded in full.

Partial Refunds

We may grant partial refunds in the following situations:

Items with obvious signs of use or wear
Opened items (where applicable)
Items returned in damaged condition due to customer mishandling
Items missing parts or accessories (not due to our error)
Items returned more than 30 days after delivery

Refund Process

Initiate Return: Contact us at bigguylittlesworld@gmail.com to request a return authorization. Include your order number, item(s) to return, and reason for return.
Return Authorization: We will review your request and provide return instructions if approved.
Ship Item: Send your item to: Big Guy, Littles World, PO Box 11, Boonsboro MD 21713, United States
Inspection: Once we receive your returned item, we will inspect it and notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund via email.
Refund Processing: If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will be applied to your original method of payment within 5-10 business days.

Please Note: Do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer. All returns must be sent to the address above.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven't received your refund yet, please follow these steps:

Check your bank account again (refunds may take time to process)
Contact your credit card company, as it may take some time before your refund is officially posted
Contact your bank, as there is often processing time before a refund is posted
If you've done all of this and still have not received your refund, please contact us at bigguylittlesworld@gmail.com

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange an item for the same item, send us an email at bigguylittlesworld@gmail.com and send your item to:

Shipping Costs

Return Shipping: You will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning items. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Exchanged Items: Shipping costs for exchanged products will vary depending on your location. You may be responsible for return shipping costs.

Tracked Shipping: If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don't guarantee that we will receive your returned item without proper tracking.

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you'll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn't marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver, and they will be notified about your return.

Donations

Donations are non-refundable as they are contributions to support our mission and care for our misfits. All donations directly support the sanctuary's operations, medical care, food, and shelter for the chihuahuas in our care.
